Keizer Companies Employees Graduate From “Skills For Success” Course With Achievement Awards

Here at Keizer Companies we know that our people are our best asset. That’s why we make our employees’ professional development our goal and help them grow and learn. Last week another three of our Sioux City employees graduated out of the “Skills For Success” Dale Carnegie Training Course, and they certainly finished on a high note! Our Operations Manager Mike Wooster was recognized for Outstanding Performance, our Service Manager John Reintzel was recognized for Human Relations and our Safety Manager Tom Johnston received the top award for the course, the Highest Award for Achievement!
Steve Bergeron, Skills For Success course tutor, congratulated all graduates and shared with us:
“Mike Wooster brought a high level of commitment to the Dale Carnegie Skills for Success Program. During the eight weeks, Mike took opportunities to work on his confidence and the way he communicates when it comes to applying his high level of knowledge and experience to his role as Operations Manager. Mike took opportunities during the program to work on his approach when it comes to helping others on his team to learn and grow in their confidence. Mike’s amazing ability to be flexible, lead by example and step-up in a moments notice earned him the prestigious Leadership Award in Session Five.”
“John Reintzel is down to earth and his approachable demeanor allows others to feel comfortable around him. As a Service Manager, those attributes are paramount. He demonstrated these strengths in Session Eight of the Program by receiving the Human Relations Award for his intentional use of the Demonstrate Leadership Principles. John’s growth in confidently connecting with others came by being in front of the group each week to communicate his experiences while keeping the listener in mind. This, along with his continuous use of the Human Relations Principles allows John to be seen by others as the go-to guy.”
“Tom Johnston is the genuine article. He is calm, conversational, always has positive energy when you are around him. He has a sincere passion for what he does as a Saftey Manager and that makes him the perfect fit for his role. For Tom, motivating employees to want to work safer comes from his ability to communicate in a way that gets “buy-in”. The Dale Carnegie Program allowed Tom to recognize and believe in the amazing communication strengths he already has while adjusting a few things to increase his confidence and make him an even more clear and motivational in his communication. Congratulations to Tom for receiving the prestigious Award for Highest Achievement from his fellow participants during the final session of the Dale Carnegie Program.”
Congratulations! The Keizer companies team could not be more proud of you for leading the way, stepping outside your comfort zone and completing the course!
