Earlier this month Mid-States Utility trailer sales representatives from our Omaha, Des Moines, Sioux City and Sioux Falls locations met for a conference in Sioux City, IA. Joined by Paul Trujillo, Western Division Sales Manager and Greg Brown, Regional Sales Manager from Utility Trailer Manufacturing, CA, and Rick Schoenfelder and his team from Demco, Maurer Manufacturing, Boyden, IA, our team had a great opportunity to learn more about our new trailer lines. Mid-States Utility new product lines include the new Utility 4000AEDropDeck as well as Demco Circle R Side Dump trailers, Demco Gondola Scrap trailers and Demco Steel DropDeck trailers.

Utility 4000AE DropDeck

Designed to haul heavy or awkward loads, the 4000AE Drop Deck features a combination of 3” and 4” aluminum crossmembers. It comes standard with a 39,000 lb. coil haul package with a 5-foot span of 4” tapered to 3” aluminum crossmembers on 8” centerlines. The 4000AE Drop Deck also features the ConMet aluminum hub system, and delivers an additional 541 lbs. of weight savings compared to the previous design. Read More >>

Demco Circle R Side Dump 

Circle R Side Dump by Demco trailers have the lowest center of gravity in the industry. The bottom of the tub actually sits inside and below the top of the chassis frame rails. This allows for increased stability when hauling as the weight of the load is closer to the ground than those whose dump bodies sit entirely above the chassis frame rails. The low center of gravity reduces the risk of tipping over the trailer during the dump cycle without sacrificing proper dump angle; and creates a lower loading height. Innovative design is one of the hallmarks of the Circle R by Demco’s success within the side dump marketplace. Many of these features are exclusive to Circle R Side Dump Trailers by Demco.
